Abstract[English]
The invention provides a downhole tubular milling apparatus and method of milling a downhole tubular. The apparatus comprises a body configured to be attached to downhole conveyance equipment and at least two cutter bases connected to the body and movable between a first position in which they are substantially retracted to the body and a second position in which they are extended outwardly from the body. An operating mechanism for moving the at least two cutter bases between the first position and the second position is provided. The set of one or more blades is arranged on the at least two cutter bases and is configured for milling in an uphole direction and a downhole direction without reconfiguring the at least one set of one or more blades. In an aspect and embodiment, each of the one more blades is configured for milling in an uphole direction and a downhole direction.[French]
L'invention concerne un appareil de fraisage d'élément tubulaire de fond de puits et un procédé de fraisage d'un élément tubulaire de fond de puits. L'appareil comprend un corps configuré pour être fixé à un équipement de transport de fond de puits et au moins deux bases de fraise reliées au corps et pouvant se déplacer entre une première position dans laquelle elles sont sensiblement rétractées par rapport au corps et une seconde position dans laquelle elles sont étendues vers l'extérieur à partir du corps. Un mécanisme d'actionnement pour déplacer lesdites au moins deux bases de fraise entre la première position et la seconde position est prévu. L'ensemble d'une ou plusieurs lames est agencé sur lesdites au moins deux bases de fraise et est configuré pour fraiser dans une direction montante et une direction descendante sans reconfigurer le ou les ensembles d'une ou plusieurs lames.
