Abstract[English]
Techniques are described for expanding and/or improving the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) 3.0 television protocol in robustly delivering the next generation broadcast television services. A receiver (300), to automatically switch from presenting a service on a first frequency (306) to a second frequency (308) such as when a mobile receiver is moving through a boundary region (302) between two broadcasters (304), can temporarily use a satellite link or 5G wireless telephony or other over the top (OTT) source (310) to acquire a service until an OTA link satisfies quality requirements.[French]
L'invention concerne des techniques destinées à étendre et/ou à améliorer le protocole de télévision 3.0 du comité des systèmes de télévision avancés (ATSC) en fournissant de façon robuste les services de radiodiffusion télévisuelle de nouvelle génération. Un récepteur (300), pour basculer automatiquement de la présentation d'un service sur une première fréquence (306) à une seconde fréquence (308) par exemple lorsqu'un récepteur mobile se déplace à travers une région limite (302) entre deux diffuseurs (304), peut utiliser temporairement une liaison par satellite ou la téléphonie sans fil 5G ou une autre source hors offre du fournisseur d'accès à Internet (OTT) pour acquérir un service jusqu'à ce qu'une liaison OTA réponde aux exigences de qualité.
