A method for checking a seal of a negative wound therapy (NPWT) dressing includes detecting a presence of a leak in a NPWT dressing using a NPWT device, displaying instructions to identify the leak using an electronic stethoscope via a user interface, and determining a location of the leak in the NPWT dressing using the electronic stethoscope.[French]
Un procédé de vérification d'un joint d'étanchéité d'un pansement de thérapie de plaie par pression négative (NPWT) comprend la détection d'une présence d'une fuite dans un pansement NPWT à l'aide d'un dispositif NPWT, l'affichage d'instructions pour identifier la fuite à l'aide d'un stéthoscope électronique par l'intermédiaire d'une interface utilisateur, ainsi que la détermination d'un emplacement de la fuite dans le pansement NPWT à l'aide du stéthoscope électronique.
