Abstract[English]
A firing mechanism provides a secondary interface between a hammer and a sear of a firearm that will automatically be engaged in case a primary interface between the hammer and the sear fails. In various embodiments, an actuator is employed to facilitate engagement of the primary and secondary interfaces.[French]
L'invention concerne un mécanisme de mise à feu qui fournit une interface secondaire entre un chien et une gâchette d'une arme à feu qui sera automatiquement enclenchée dans le cas où une interface primaire entre le chien et la gâchette est défaillante.
