Abstract[English]
A grain dryer has a pair of heating columns with an upper plenum in communication with the pair of heating columns. Each heating column has an inner boundary and an outer boundary being formed with a plurality of angled containment baffles configured to funnel grain down the heating column while allowing heated air to be drawn from the upper plenum through the grain. The grain dryer has a plurality of grain diverters mounted longitudinally at between the containment baffles forming the inner boundary and the containment baffles forming the outer boundary. Grain flowing down each heating column is forced to pass around the plurality of grain diverters.[French]
Un séchoir à grains comprend une paire de colonnes de chauffage, un plénum supérieur étant en communication avec la paire de colonnes de chauffage. Chaque colonne de chauffage possède une limite interne et une limite externe étant formée avec une pluralité de déflecteurs de confinement inclinés conçus pour verser les grains à l'aide d'un entonnoir vers le bas de la colonne de chauffage tout en permettant à l'air chauffé d'être aspiré depuis le plénum supérieur à travers les grains. Le séchoir à grains comporte une pluralité de déflecteurs de grains montés longitudinalement entre les déflecteurs de confinement formant la limite interne et les déflecteurs de confinement formant la limite externe. Les grains s'écoulant vers le bas de chaque colonne de chauffage sont forcés à passer autour de la pluralité de déflecteurs de grains.
