Abstract[English]
A grain dryer has a pair of heating columns with an upper plenum in communication with the pair of heating columns. Each heating column has an inner boundary and an outer boundary being formed with a plurality of angled containment baffles configured to funnel grain down the heating column while allowing heated air to be drawn from the upper plenum through the grain. The grain dryer has a plurality of grain diverters mounted longitudinally at regular height intervals between the containment baffles forming the inner boundary and the containment baffles forming the outer boundary. Each grain diverter is shaped to form a downward facing nook that forms a void in the grain as the grain flows down the heating column.[French]
Un séchoir à grain comprend une paire de colonnes de chauffage avec un plénum supérieur en communication avec la paire de colonnes de chauffage. Chaque colonne de chauffage présente une limite interne et une limite externe formées avec une pluralité de déflecteurs de confinement inclinés conçus pour canaliser le grain vers le bas de la colonne de chauffage tout en permettant à l'air chauffé d'être aspiré depuis le plénum supérieur à travers le grain. Le séchoir à grain comporte une pluralité de déflecteurs à grains montés longitudinalement à des intervalles de hauteur réguliers entre les déflecteurs de confinement formant la limite interne et les déflecteurs de confinement formant la limite externe. Chaque déflecteur à grains est façonné pour former un recoin orienté vers le bas qui forme un vide dans le grain lorsque le grain s'écoule vers le bas de la colonne de chauffage.
