Abstract[English]
A method and a system for converting ethane to ethylene are provided. An exemplary method includes providing a feed stream including the ethane and oxygen to an oxidative dehydrogenation reactor and converting at least a portion of the ethane to ethylene in the oxidative dehydrogenation reactor to provide a reactor effluent stream including ethane, ethylene, and oxygen, acetylene, or both. The method includes cooling the reactor effluent stream to form a cooled effluent stream and providing the cooled effluent stream to an oxygen removal reactor including an ODH catalyst bed. A deoxygenation stream including water and an alcohol is provided to the oxygen removal reactor to form a deoxygenated effluent.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de conversion d'éthane en éthylène. Un exemple de procédé comprend la fourniture d'un courant d'alimentation comprenant l'éthane et de l'oxygène à un réacteur de déshydrogénation oxydative et la conversion d'au moins une portion de l'éthane en éthylène dans le réacteur de déshydrogénation oxydative afin de produire un flux d'effluent de réacteur contenant de l'éthane, de l'éthylène et de l'oxygène, de l'acétylène, ou les deux.
