Abstract[English] A reflective article includes an injection molded thermoplastic substrate, and a reflective metal layer disposed on a surface of the thermoplastic substrate. The injection molded thermoplastic substrate is prepared from a pre-blended composition including specific amounts of two poly(phenylene ether)s having different intrinsic viscosities, an atactic polystyrene, and, optionally, a hydrogenated block copolymer of an alkenyl aromatic compound and a conjugated diene. The reflective article is lighter and less costly than comparable reflective articles based on heat-resistant polycarbonates. Also described are a melt-blended composition derived from the pre-blended composition, and an injection-molded article prepared from the melt-blended composition.[French] Article réfléchissant comprenant un substrat thermoplastique moulé par injection, et une couche métallique réfléchissante située sur une surface du substrat thermoplastique. Le substrat thermoplastique moulé par injection est préparé à partir d'une composition pré-mélangée comprenant des quantités particulières de deux poly(phénylène éther) possédant des viscosités intrinsèques différentes, un polystyrène atactique et, éventuellement, un copolymère séquencé hydrogéné d'un composé alcényl aromatique et d'un diène conjugué. L'article réfléchissant est plus léger et moins coûteux que les articles réfléchissants comparables à base de polycarbonates résistants à la chaleur. L'invention concerne également une composition mélangée par fusion dérivée de la composition pré-mélangée, et un article moulé par injection préparé à partir de la composition mélangée par fusion.
