A method of operating an electrochromic (EC) device, for example a 'smart window' (108), includes storing electrical energy generated from wireless power transmissions (110) received by a wireless power receiver (106), and controlling an optical state of the EC device, for example between substantially transparent and substantially opaque, using the stored electrical energy.[French]
