Techniques are described for expanding and/or improving the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) 3.0 television protocol in robustly delivering the next generation broadcast television services. In a boundary region (302) between first and second broadcast stations (304) in which a receiver (300) can pick up signals from both stations, a primary tuner (502) receiving signals from plural antennae (506) presents (804) a demanded service while a secondary tuner (502) uses a single antenna (506) to scan (806) for duplicate transmissions of the service, and if one is found, the version with the better quality metrics may be presented.[French]
