Abstract[English]
Techniques are described for expanding and/or improving the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) 3.0 television protocol in robustly delivering the next generation broadcast television services. An ATSC 3.0 service list table (SLT) (240) contains correlations between service IDs and frequencies so that a receiver (300) receiving duplicate services on different frequencies in a boundary (302) between broadcast regions can select (704) the best frequency to tune to in order to present the service, without having to access a database to correlate service IDs to frequencies.[French]
L'invention concerne des techniques destinées à étendre et/ou améliorer le protocole de télévision 3.0 de comité de systèmes de télévision avancés (ATSC) par la fourniture robuste des services de diffusion télévisée de prochaine génération. Une table de liste de services (SLT) ATSC 3.0 (240) contient des corrélations entre des ID de service et des fréquences de sorte qu'un récepteur (300) recevant des services en double sur différentes fréquences dans une limite (302) entre des régions de diffusion puisse sélectionner (704) la meilleure fréquence à syntoniser afin de présenter le service, sans avoir à accéder à une base de données pour corréler des ID de service à des fréquences.
