A method for preparing a 3D printing model. The method includes identifying a centerline path (110) of a vascular feature from a vasculature model. Based on the centerline path (110) and for the centerline path (110), an arc length, an x-axis length, a y-axis length, and a z-axis length are determined. The centerline path is stretched to reduce the z-axis length.[French]
