Abstract[English]
A system and method for conducting a transaction is provided. The method includes receiving a payment notification in respect of a payment of a first amount from a payor store of value in favour of a first intermediate store of value, in which both stores of value are maintained by a first store of value system; identifying a payee store of value maintained by a second store of value system which is linked to a payee identifier that is included in the payment notification and is separate from the details of the first intermediate store of value; and, initiating a transfer of funds for a second amount from an available store of value maintained by the second store of value system in favour of the payee store of value, wherein the second amount is based on the first amount.[French]
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé pour mener à bien une transaction. Le procédé consiste à recevoir une notification de paiement concernant un paiement d'un premier montant provenant d'une réserve de valeur de payeur en faveur d'une première réserve de valeur intermédiaire, dans laquelle les deux réserves de valeur sont maintenues par un premier système de réserve de valeur ; à identifier une réserve de valeur de bénéficiaire maintenue par un second système de réserve de valeur qui est lié à un identifiant de bénéficiaire qui est compris dans la notification de paiement et qui est séparé des détails de la première réserve de valeur intermédiaire de valeur ; et, à initier un transfert de fonds pour un second montant à partir d'une réserve de valeur disponible maintenue par le second système de réserve de valeur en faveur de la réserve de valeur de bénéficiaire, le second montant étant basé sur le premier montant.
