There is provided an apparatus, said apparatus comprising means for, for a user equipment not having communicated a link layer address to a network, assigning a link layer address or segment routing label to the user equipment or a device reachable through the user equipment and forwarding a payload of frames containing the assigned link layer address or ta payload of packets containing the assigned segment routing label to the user equipment via a radio access network directly coupled to the apparatus.[French]
