Abstract[English] An air breathing filtering system (200) includes a housing (202) having an air input (204) and an air output (206), a first filtering stage (220) that filters out particles from a first air stream (310) to generate a second air stream (312), and a second filtering stage (230) that filters out germs from the second air stream (312) to generate a third air stream (314), wherein the second filtering stage (230) uses a different filtering process than the first filtering stage (220). The first air stream (310) is received at the air input (204) and the third air stream (314) is discharged outside the housing (202) at the air output (206). The second filtering stage (230) uses a liquid (233) to disable the germs from the second air stream (312).[French] L'invention concerne un système de filtration d'air respirable (200) qui comprend un boîtier (202) comportant une entrée d'air (204) et une sortie d'air (206), un premier étage de filtration (220) qui élimine par filtration des particules contenues dans un premier flux d'air (310) pour générer un deuxième flux d'air (312), et un second étage de filtration (230) qui élimine par filtration les germes contenus dans le deuxième flux d'air (312) pour générer un troisième flux d'air (314), le second étage de filtration (230) faisant intervenir un processus de filtration différent de celui du premier étage de filtration (220).
