Abstract[English]
Signaling link or node failure in a direct interconnect network may be facilitated by recording paths between the various nodes in the network in a lookup table, whereby the paths are represented by a sequence of exit port numbers for nodes along with a terminator marker indicating the end of the path and thus the destination node. Each path in the lookup table may also be associated with a status indicator. As packets are broken down into flits and sent over the network, failures in links or nodes may be detected. Once a failure is detected, a path failure flit is sent back through the path in reverse with path information to notify the source node of the failure. Once notified of a link or node failure, the associated path is updated to reflect its unavailability.[French]
La signalisation d'une défaillance de liaison ou de nœud dans un réseau d'interconnexion directe peut être facilitée par l'enregistrement de chemins entre les divers nœuds dans le réseau dans une table de consultation, les trajets étant représentés par une séquence de numéros de port de sortie pour des nœuds conjointement avec un marqueur de terminaison indiquant l'extrémité du trajet et ainsi le nœud de destination. Chaque trajet dans la table de consultation peut également être associé à un indicateur d'état. Lorsque des paquets sont décomposés en flux et envoyés sur le réseau, des défaillances dans des liaisons ou des nœuds peuvent être détectées. Une fois qu'une défaillance est détectée, un flux de défaillance de trajet est renvoyé à travers le trajet en sens inverse avec des informations de trajet pour notifier la défaillance au nœud source. Une fois notifié d'une défaillance de liaison ou de nœud, le trajet associé est mis à jour pour refléter son indisponibilité.
