Abstract[English]
A computer-implemented method of determining locations of transducers on a subject's body for applying tumor treating fields, the method including: selecting a plurality of pairs of locations on the subject's body, each pair of locations having a first location to locate a first transducer and a second location to locate a second transducer; obtaining, for each pair of locations, a voltage measurement and a current measurement for an electric field induced between the first transducer and the second transducer, the induced electric field passing through a tumor of the subject's body; calculating, for each pair of locations, a resistivity based on the voltage measurement and the current measurement; and selecting and outputting one or more recommended pairs of locations based on the calculated resistivities.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé mis en œuvre par ordinateur pour déterminer des emplacements de transducteurs sur le corps d'un sujet pour appliquer des champs de traitement de tumeur, le procédé consistant à : sélectionner une pluralité de paires d'emplacements sur le corps du sujet, chaque paire d'emplacements présentant un premier emplacement pour localiser un premier transducteur et un deuxième emplacement pour localiser un deuxième transducteur ; obtenir, pour chaque paire d'emplacements, une mesure de tension et une mesure de courant pour un champ électrique induit entre le premier transducteur et le deuxième transducteur, le champ électrique induit passant à travers une tumeur du corps du sujet ; calculer, pour chaque paire d'emplacements, une résistivité sur la base de la mesure de tension et de la mesure de courant ; et sélectionner et émettre une ou plusieurs paires recommandées d'emplacements sur la base des résistivités calculées.
