Abstract[English]
A communication circuit and protocol for a wireless local area network (WLAN) using CSMA/CA and single EDCA and/or Multiple-User (MU) EDCA. EDCA functions are configured to operate with multiple sets of operating parameters providing a range of priority levels for altering on the fly the nominal access time for a STA sending prioritized packets. The STA then must switch to a lower-priority set of parameters as recompense so that channel usage remains fair.[French]
Circuit et protocole de communication pour un réseau local sans fil (WLAN) utilisant un CSMA/CA et un EDCA unique et/ou un EDCA à utilisateurs multiples (MU). Les fonctions EDCA sont conçues pour fonctionner avec de multiples ensembles de paramètres de fonctionnement fournissant une plage de niveaux de priorité pour modifier à la volée le temps d'accès nominal pour une STA envoyant des paquets classés par ordre de priorité. La STA doit ensuite commuter vers un ensemble de paramètres de priorité inférieure comme récompense, de telle sorte que l'utilisation de canal reste équitable.
