Abstract[English] Systems and methods are provided for controlling operation of a trailer brake system associated with an agricultural vehicle-trailer combination, comprising: determining a base value for a temperature associated with the trailer brake system; determining a coupling force between the vehicle and the trailer; determining a corrected value for the temperature associated with the trailer brake system in dependence on the determined coupling force; and controlling one or more components of the vehicle trailer combination in dependence on the corrected value.[French] L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés pour commander le fonctionnement d'un système de frein de remorque associé à une combinaison de véhicule agricole-remorque, comprenant : la détermination d'une valeur de base pour une température associée au système de frein de remorque ; la détermination d'une force de couplage entre le véhicule et la remorque ; la détermination d'une valeur corrigée pour la température associée au système de frein de remorque en fonction de la force de couplage déterminée ; et la commande d'un ou de plusieurs composants de la combinaison de véhicule-remorque en fonction de la valeur corrigée.
