Abstract[English]
Systems and methods are provided for controlling operation of a trailer brake system associated with an agricultural vehicle-trailer combination. A coupling force between the vehicle and the trailer is determined and used to control operation of the trailer brake system in dependence thereon. A primary control strategy is used in dependence on the determined coupling force being within a coupling force range; and one or more secondary control strategies are used in dependence on the determined coupling force being outside of the coupling force range.[French]
L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés permettant de commander le fonctionnement d'un système de freinage de remorque associé à une combinaison véhicule-remorque agricole. Une force de couplage entre le véhicule et la remorque est déterminée et utilisée pour commander le fonctionnement du système de freinage de remorque en fonction de cette dernière. Une stratégie de commande primaire est utilisée si la force de couplage déterminée se situe dans une plage de force de couplage ; et une ou plusieurs stratégies de commande secondaires sont utilisées si la force de couplage déterminée se situe hors de la plage de forces de couplage.
