A bracing assembly (14) for bracing a support apparatus (12) is disclosed. The bracing assembly (14) comprises a flexible elongate member (18) and a securing device (20) to which the elongate member (18) is secured. The bracing assembly (14) further includes a connecting assembly (22) to connect the securing device (20) to the support apparatus (12). The connecting assembly (22) comprises a connector (24) which can be fastened to the securing device (20) and to the support apparatus (12).[French]
