Abstract[English]
The invention relates to a pneumocephalus prevention device with a view to allowing a continuous circulation of saline solution during a cranial puncture and avoiding contact of the brain with atmospheric air. The device consists of a solution concentration unit (1), a liquid circulation pump (2) and tubes (10) to create a closed circuit in which the solution circulates. The solution concentration part (1), is screwed with screws to the skull and has two openings, one for shunting (8) and one for drainage (9), where the first is at higher position than the second one, in order to achieve the unhindered circulation of the solution.[French]
L'invention concerne un dispositif de prévention contre la pneumocéphalie qui permet une circulation continue d'une solution saline lors d'une ponction crânienne et évite le contact du cerveau avec l'air atmosphérique. Le dispositif est constitué d'une unité de concentration de solution (1), d'une pompe de circulation de liquide (2) et de tubes (10) pour créer un circuit fermé dans lequel circule la solution. La partie de concentration de solution (1) est vissée avec des vis sur le crâne et comporte deux ouvertures, l'une pour la dérivation (8) et l'autre pour le drainage (9), la première étant située plus haut que la seconde, afin d'assurer la libre circulation de la solution.
