Abstract[English]
A method of sampling a molten metal, the method comprising: pouring a stream of the molten metal; moving a plurality of sample pots under the molten metal stream during pouring, whereby a portion of the molten metal stream is poured sequentially into each of the plurality of sample pots and repeating such that each sample pot holds multiple portions of the molten metal stream; and heating the plurality of sample pots during the pouring process such that the molten metal within the plurality of sample pots remains molten during the pouring process.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé d'échantillonnage d'un métal en fusion, le procédé comprenant : la coulée d'un flux de métal en fusion ; le déplacement d'une pluralité de pots d'échantillonnage sous le flux de métal en fusion pendant la coulée, une partie du flux de métal en fusion étant versée séquentiellement dans chacun des pots d'échantillonnage et répétée de sorte que chaque pot d'échantillonnage contienne de plusieurs portions du flux de métal en fusion ; et le chauffage de la pluralité de pots d'échantillonnage pendant le processus de coulée de sorte que le métal en fusion à l'intérieur de la pluralité de pots d'échantillonnage reste en fusion pendant le processus de coulée.
