Abstract[English]
The invention relates to ruthenium complexes which may find use in the field of organic chemistry. Specifically, the present invention relates to ruthenium complexes which may be used in the reduction or hydrogenation of esters to alcohols. The invention further relates to a process for reducing or hydrogenating an ester to form an alcohol using the ruthenium complexes of the invention.[French]
L'invention concerne des complexes de ruthénium qui peuvent être utilisés dans le domaine de la chimie organique. Plus particulièrement, la présente invention concerne des complexes de ruthénium qui peuvent être utilisés dans la réduction ou l'hydrogénation d'esters en alcools. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé de réduction ou d'hydrogénation d'un ester pour former un alcool à l'aide des complexes de ruthénium de l'invention.
