Abstract[English]
A wearable cooling device (Ice Pulse) comprises a flexible outer shell made from a high-grade polymer and a water-filled core that can be frozen. The device is designed to be applied to key heat-exchange areas of the body, such as the wrists or palms, to reduce core body temperature. The outer surface features raised lines that enhance aerodynamics and reduce drag during physical activity. Additionally, the ribbed base creates air channels between the device and the skin, promoting airflow and improving heat dissipation. The device maintains a surface temperature between 8°C and 25°C for up to 120 minutes at a room temperature of 23 degrees Celsius. The product features a flap valve, to fill the product with liquid to freeze before use, this same valve can be used to empty the product when use has concluded.[French]
Un dispositif de rafraîchissement portable (Ice Pulse)) comprend une coque extérieure souple constituée d'un polymère de haute qualité et un coeur rempli d'eau qui peut être congelé. Le dispositif est conçu pour être appliqué sur des zones clés d'échange thermique du corps, comme les poignets ou les paumes, afin de réduire la température corporelle. La surface externe présente des lignes en relief qui optimisent l'aérodynamique et réduisent la résistance à l'écoulement lors d'une activité physique. De plus, la base nervurée crée des canaux d'air entre le dispositif et la peau, favorisant la circulation de l'air et améliorant la dissipation de chaleur. À une température ambiante de 23 degrés Celsius, le dispositif maintient une température de surface comprise entre 8°C et 25°C pendant 120 minutes.
