Abstract[English] A process is described for steam reforming a hydrocarbon-containing feedstock, comprising passing a mixture of the hydrocarbon-containing feedstock and steam through a catalyst bed comprising an eggshell nickel steam reforming catalyst disposed within a plurality of tubes in a gas-heated reformer and recovering a reformed gas from the plurality of tubes, characterised in that the catalyst bed has an inlet temperature in the range of from 400 to 560 °C, an exit temperature ≤ 850 °C, and the pressure of the mixture of the hydrocarbon-containing feedstock and steam is in the range of from 30 to 100 bar abs.[French] L'invention concerne un procédé de reformage à la vapeur d'une charge d'alimentation contenant des hydrocarbures, comprenant le passage d'un mélange de la charge d'alimentation contenant des hydrocarbures et de la vapeur à travers un lit de catalyseur comprenant un catalyseur de reformage à la vapeur de nickel de type coquille d'œuf disposé à l'intérieur d'une pluralité de tubes dans un reformeur chauffé au gaz et la récupération d'un gaz reformé à partir de la pluralité de tubes, caractérisé en ce que le lit de catalyseur a une température d'entrée dans la plage de 400 à 560°C, une température de sortie ≤ 850°C, et la pression du mélange de la charge d'alimentation contenant des hydrocarbures et de la vapeur est dans la plage de 30 à 100 bar abs.
