Abstract[English]
The disclosure relates to display devices and methods for displaying a pattern. In one arrangement, a device comprises at least one display element having a layered structure. The layered structure comprises: a diffraction layer comprising a periodic structure configured to diffract incident visible light into a guided-mode resonance in the layered structure; and a phase change material layer comprising phase change material that is thermally switchable between two stable states having different refractive indices. The phase change material is positioned to allow coupling between the guided-mode resonance and the phase change material.[French]
L'invention concerne des dispositifs d'affichage et des procédés d'affichage d'un motif. Dans un agencement, un dispositif comprend au moins un élément d'affichage ayant une structure en couches. La structure en couches comprend : une couche de diffraction comprenant une structure périodique conçue pour diffracter la lumière visible incidente en une résonance en mode guidé dans la structure en couches ; et une couche de matériau à changement de phase comprenant un matériau à changement de phase qui est commutable thermiquement entre deux états stables ayant des indices de réfraction différents.
