A method of forming a belt (5) for a face mask (1), comprising the steps of: using a measuring means to trace the contours of the face of a user, and using the data collected by the measuring means to create a cut line on a loop of material (5); wherein the step of using a measuring means to trace the contours of the face of a user by an electronic measuring tool, a software program and the data collected by the measuring means can be used to create a 3D model of the face as a mathematical representation, and extract a closed 3D curve from the 3D model.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé de formation d'une bande (5) pour un masque facial (1), comprenant les étapes consistant à : utiliser un moyen de mesure pour tracer les contours du visage d'un utilisateur et utiliser les données collectées par le moyen de mesure pour créer une ligne de coupe sur une boucle de matériau (5); l'étape d'utilisation d'un moyen de mesure pour tracer les contours du visage d'un utilisateur au moyen d'un outil de mesure électronique, un programme logiciel et les données collectées par le moyen de mesure pouvant être utilisés pour créer un modèle 3D du visage, sous la forme d'une représentation mathématique, et extraire une courbe 3D fermée à partir du modèle 3D.
