The invention relates to a flavoring diffuser for a disposable water bottle (1), in particular a disposable plastic water bottle (1), having a capacity of between 0.2 and 2 liters and comprising a neck (4) encircled by a thread (40) for a screw cap (3) and by a flange (41) located beneath the thread (40) of the neck (4), the diffuser comprising: a flavoring container (5), comprising: a hollow body (100) of annular or partially annular shape so as to be able to be placed around the neck (4) of this bottle (1), beneath the flange (41), and comprising one or more flavoring-diffusing orifices (6), an absorbent material (79) suitable for containing at least one flavoring in liquid form, and at least one flavoring capsule (76) comprising a closed outer shell (77), containing a flavoring (78) in liquid form and being able to be opened, in such a way that the flavoring (78) propagates into the absorbent material (79), by simply exerting pressure on a portion of the flavoring container (5), the flavoring capsule (76) being located inside the absorbent material (79) which is surrounded by the hollow body (100).[French]
