It is an objective of the present invention to provide an event stream manipulation apparatus (100), In more detail, it is an objective of the invention to provide an event stream manipulation apparatus that generates event streams corresponding to slower timescales from an event stream. It is a further objective of the invention to provide an sensor event stream manipulation apparatus that can recursively produce multiple slower timescales (event time pyramid) from input event stream with little computing resources.
