Bei einem Verfahren zum Betreiben einer Brennkraftmaschine (10) mit gasförmigem Brennstoff wird einem Brennraum (14) wenigstens zeitweise mittels eines Abgas-Turboladers (24) verdichtete Luft zugeführt. Bei dem Verfahren ist ferner wenigstens zeitweise Scavenging aktiv ist. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass dann, wenn Scavenging aktiv ist, und abhängig vom Ergebnis einer Auswertung einer Größe, die eine Soll-Leistungserhöhung charakterisiert, eine Maßnahme durchgeführt wird, durch die ein Abgasgegendruck begrenzt wird.[English]
In a method for operating an internal combustion engine (10) by means of gaseous fuel, compressed air is at least temporarily fed to a combustion chamber (14) by means of an exhaust gas turbocharger (24).
