Abstract[English]
The present application relates to a method for improving the operation of a receiver device in a communications network, the method comprising the following steps implemented in a control entity: - receiving (21) a message, from a receiver, comprising time information associated with the receiver and determined, by the receiver, on the basis of trigger information detected in a signal received by the receiver, the trigger information corresponding to a change in a value in at least one particular data field in the received signal not bearing time information; - determining (22) information on the location of the receiver on the basis of the time information associated with the receiver and predetermined reference time information known to the receiver and the control entity.[French]
La présente demande concerne un procédé d'amélioration du fonctionnement d'un récepteur dans un réseau de communication comprenant les étapes mises en œuvre dans une entité de contrôle : - la réception (21) d'un message, en provenance d'un récepteur, comprenant une information temporelle associée au récepteur et déterminée, par le récepteur, à partir d'une information de déclenchement détectée dans un signal reçu par le récepteur, l'information de déclenchement correspondant à un changement d'une valeur d'au moins un champ de donnée particulier dans le signal reçu et ne portant pas d'information temporelle, - la détermination (22) d'une information de localisation du récepteur à partir de l'information temporelle associée au récepteur et d'une information temporelle de référence prédéterminée et connue du récepteur et de l'entité de contrôle.
