Die Erfindung geht aus von einer Kochfeldvorrichtung (10) mit zumindest einer Sensoreinheit (12), zumindest einer Steuereinheit (14) und mit zumindest einer Analyseumgebung (16), wobei die Steuereinheit (14) zumindest dazu vorgesehen ist, basierend auf zumindest einem durch die Sensoreinheit (12) erfassten Signal zumindest eine Funktionalität bereitzustellen, wobei das erfasste Signal zumindest zu einer Ermittlung eines bevorstehenden Garzustands eines beheizten Garguts (18), insbesondere einer Ermittlung eines bevorstehenden Überkochzustands, geeignet ist. Um eine Kochfeldvorrichtung (10) mit verbesserten Eigenschaften hinsichtlich eines Benutzerkomforts sowie einer Anwendungssicherheit bereitzustellen wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Analyseumgebung (16) zumindest dazu vorgesehen ist, in zumindest einem Betriebszustand basierend auf dem durch die Sensoreinheit (12) erfassten Signal eine Verfügbarkeit der zumindest einen Funktionalität zu ermitteln.[English]
