Abstract[English]
A tape measure is proposed that comprises: a measuring tape having a face, the face having at least a first scale with first graduations and a second scale with second graduations, and having a back side opposite from the face; an end piece affixed to a first end portion of the measuring tape; and a measurement indicator arranged in front of the face and extending across the face to indicate a measurement along the measuring tape from the end piece to the measurement indicator. The tape measure comprises a scale selector that has a first aperture to expose the measurement indicator in front of first graduations of the first scale when the scale selector is placed in a first position on the measuring tape and that has a second aperture to expose the measurement indicator in front of second graduations of the second scale when the scale selector is placed in a second position on the measuring tape.[French]
L'invention concerne un mètre ruban qui comprend : un ruban de mesure ayant une face, la face ayant au moins une première échelle avec de premières graduations et une seconde échelle avec de secondes graduations, et ayant un côté arrière opposé à la face ; une pièce d'extrémité fixée à une première partie d'extrémité du ruban de mesure ; et un indicateur de mesure disposé devant la face et s'étendant en travers de la face pour indiquer une mesure le long du ruban de mesure de la partie d'extrémité à l'indicateur de mesure.
