Abstract[English]
The disclosure relates to a gap seal element adapted to be arranged in a gap, the gap seal element extending along a longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end thereof, and comprising: a magnetic carrier strip extending along the longitudinal axis between the first end and the second end and having a flat bottom side for attaching the gap seal element to a surface; and a sealing member extending along the longitudinal axis between the first end and the second end, protruding out from a top side of the magnetic carrier strip and being reversibly deformable; wherein the sealing member comprises a protective barrier member extending along the sealing member, the protective barrier member comprising a flexible wire mesh. The disclosure further relates to a kit of parts for forming a gap seal and a method for assembling the kit of parts.[French]
