Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Bremssystems (1), das eine erste Steuereinheit (3) und eine zweite Steuereinheit (4) zur Verstellung einer Radbremse (2) bei aktivierter Parkbremse aufweist. Bei einem Fehler der ersten Steuereinheit (3) wird das Bremssystem (1) in einem Rückfallbetrieb (8) betrieben, in welchem die Verstellung der Radbremse (2) mittels der zweiten Steuereinheit (4) erfolgt, wobei ein Zustand der Radbremse (2) für eine Bereitschaftsdauer überwacht wird, und wobei die Bereitschaftsdauer abhängig von der Temperatur der Radbremse (2) angepasst wird. Die Erfindung betrifft zudem ein Computerprogrammprodukt zur Ausführung des Verfahrens.[English]
