A sub-assembly of a medicament delivery device, the sub-assembly comprising: a biased plunger rod extending along a longitudinal axis between a proximal end and a distal end; a rotator having a fastener having a first circumferentially directed surface and a second circumferentially directed surface facing in the opposite circumferential direction of the first circumferentially directed surface; a plunger rod holder positioned between the rotator and the plunger rod in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis; wherein the plunger rod holder comprises a counter fastener having a first circumferentially directed surface and a second circumferentially directed surface facing in the opposite circumferential direction of the first circumferentially directed surface; and wherein before the rotator is rotated to a second position, the first circumferentially directed surface of the fastener of the rotator is adjacent to the first circumferentially directed surface of the counter fastener of the plunger rod holder; and the second circumferentially directed surface of the fastener of the rotator is adjacent to the second circumferentially directed surface of the counter fastener of the plunger rod holder.[French]
