Außenverkleidungsteil für ein Fahrzeug, umfassend ein Außenverkleidungselement (1) mit wenigsten einer Durchgangsöffnung (2), und wenigstens eine Sensoraufnahme (3) zum Aufnehmen eines Sensors (20), wobei die Sensoraufnahme im Bereich der Durchgangsöffnung angeordnet ist und einen hülsenförmigen Körper (4) aufweist, in welchen der Sensor, wobei die Sensoraufnahme ferner einen seitlich nach außen von dem Körper überstehenden Flansch (5) zur Anlage an einer Seite (6) des Außenverkleidungselements aufweist und sich der hülsenförmige Körper distal vom Flansch durch die Durchgangsöffnung hindurch zu der anderen Seite (7) des Außenverkleidungselements erstreckt, wobei ein Randbereich (9) der Durchgangsöffnung in Richtung zu der anderen Seite zurückspringt, wobei die Flanschdicke (D) und die Tiefe (T) des Rücksprungs (R) so aufeinander abgestimmt sind, dass zumindest die randseitige Sichtfläche (10) des Flansches bündig zu einer benachbarten Sichtfläche (11) des Außenverkleidungselements angeordnet ist.[English]
