The invention relates to cosmetic preparations for treating hair and scalp which contain, in a cosmetic carrier, polyepoxysuccinic acid or specific salts or derivatives of polyepoxysuccinic acid, and are exceptionally suitable for conditioning and repairing hair damage and for strengthening the inner hair structure.[French]
