A refrigerator appliance (1000), characterized by comprising: a storage compartment (1100); a storage unit (900), wherein the storage unit (900) is arranged inside the storage compartment (1100) in a push-and-pull manner; a locking mechanism (400), comprising a first mating portion (401) located on the storage unit (900) and a second mating portion (402) located in the storage compartment (1100) and engaged and locked to the first mating portion (401), wherein the locking mechanism (400) is configured to lock the storage unit (900) relative to the refrigerator appliance (1000) when the storage unit (900) is pushed back; and a release mechanism (300), wherein the release mechanism (300) is arranged on the storage unit (900) to be operated to allow the release mechanism (300) to move relative to the storage unit (900), so as to drive the locking mechanism (400) to unlock the storage unit (900), wherein during pushing of the storage unit (900) back to a locked state, the release mechanism (300) remains at a constant position relative to the storage unit (900).[French]
