Abstract[English]
According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a pickup unit is provided for a pick-and-place apparatus. The pickup unit comprises a deformable shaft that is elongated in a longitudinal axis and that has an outer surface with a flat portion. At least one diffraction grating is formed in or arranged in the flat portion of the outer surface.[French]
