Abstract[English]
According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a system for determining an orientation of a device is provided that comprises a diffraction grating arranged on a surface of the device. By impinging a collimated light beam onto the diffraction grating an m-th order light beam and an n-th order light beam are generated. By monitoring the positions on sensor surface at which these light beams are detected, orientation information concerning an orientation of the device can be determined.[French]
Selon un aspect de la présente invention, un système permettant de déterminer une orientation d'un dispositif comprend un réseau de diffraction disposé sur une surface du dispositif. Un faisceau lumineux collimaté incident sur le réseau de diffraction permet de générer un faisceau lumineux de m-ième ordre et un faisceau lumineux de n-ième ordre. En surveillant les positions sur la surface de capteur au niveau desquelles ces faisceaux lumineux sont détectés, des informations d'orientation concernant une orientation du dispositif peuvent être déterminées.
