Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kraftfahrzeugschloss für ein Verschlusselement eines Kraftfahrzeugs mit einer Schlossfalle (2) und einem Sperrklinkensystem (3), wobei die Schlossfalle (2) in eine Offenstellung, in eine Hauptschließstellung und in eine Vorschließstellung, welche sich zwischen Offenstellung und Hauptschließstellung befindet, verstellbar ist, wobei die Schlossfalle (2) im Einbauzustand in den Schließstellungen mit einem Schließteil, insbesondere mit einem Schließbügel o. dgl., in haltendem Eingriff steht, wobei das Sperrklinkensystem (3) in einen Sperrzustand, in dem das Sperrklinkensystem (3) die Schlossfalle (2) in der Hauptschließstellung oder der Vorschließstellung hält, und in einen Öffnungszustand, in dem das Sperrklinkensystem (3) die Schlossfalle (2) freigibt, verstellbar ist, wobei das Kraftfahrzeugschloss (1) einen Auslösemechanismus (4) aufweist, durch dessen Betätigung das Sperrklinkensystem (3) in den Öffnungszustand überführbar ist, wobei das Kraftfahrzeugschloss (1) einen in einen Schließhilfszustand und in einen Öffnungshilfszustand bringbaren Hilfsmechanismus (5) mit einem Aktivierungshebel (6) aufweist, wobei eine Aktivierungsbewegung des Aktivierungshebels (6) in Abhängigkeit vom Zustand des Hilfsmechanismus (5) einen Schließhilfsvorgang oder einen Öffnungshilfsvorgang auslöst.
