A sub-assembly of a medicament delivery device, the sub-assembly comprising: a housing (1) extending along a longitudinal axis (L) from a proximal end to a distal end; a processor connected to one or more electronic components; wherein the processor is accommodated within the housing; a switch accommodated within the housing (1); a trigger (5) movably accommodated within the housing; wherein the trigger (5) comprises a sensing area (52a); wherein the switch comprises an electronic non-contact sensor (121, 122) attached to the housing and configured to sense the sensing area (52a) of the trigger (5); and wherein in response to sensing the sensing area (52a), the switch is configured to provide a signal to the processor.[French]
