The invention relates to a method for obtaining a set (RS) of compression rules able to compress a data packet (P) transmitted in a network (NET), the packet (P) comprising sections that take respective values expressed in the form of a bit string, the packet (P) being able to be compressed by applying compression rules that are able to delete bits of a value taken by a section of the packet (P), the method comprising, for multiple given packet sections, obtaining a compression potential (PC) for a given section, in relation to the values taken by the given section in the packets belonging to a set (E) of data packets, referred to as the training set, followed by obtaining the set (RS) of compression rules on the basis of the obtained compression potentials (PC).[French]
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé d'obtention d'un ensemble (RS) de règles de compression aptes à compresser un paquet de données (P) transmis dans un réseau (NET), le paquet (P) comprenant des sections prenant des valeurs respectives exprimées sous la forme de suite de bits, le paquet (P) étant apte à être compressé par application de règles de compression aptes à supprimer des bits d'une valeur prise par une section du paquet (P), le procédé comprenant, pour plusieurs sections données de paquets, une obtention d'un potentiel de compression (PC) pour une section donnée, relativement aux valeurs prises par la section donnée dans les paquets appartenant à un ensemble (E) de paquets de données, dit ensemble d'apprentissage, suivie par l'obtention de l'ensemble (RS) de règles de compression en fonction des potentiels de compression (PC) obtenus.
