The disclosure relates to a door control system (100) for adaptive operation of a door (1), the system (100) comprises: a sensor (5a, 5b, 5c) configured to obtain sensor data associated with the surroundings of the door (1); a door control unit (30) configured to operate the door (1) and configured to manage parameter settings related to the operation of the door (1); a processing circuitry (102a, 102b, 102c) operatively connected to the sensor (5a, 5b, 5c) and the door control unit (30) configured to: select a door operation setting of the door (1); obtain sensor data associated with the surroundings of the door (1); in a determination that the obtained sensor data correlates to a predetermined sensor data, operate the door (1) according to an updated parameter setting related to the selected door operation setting of the door (1). The disclosure further relates to a method for adaptive operation of a door (1) and a computer program product (500).[French]
