A subassembly (2, 102) for a medicament delivery device (1) accommodating a medicament container (13). The subassembly (101, 102) comprises: a housing (3); an electrical drive unit (82) configured to move a plunger rod (83) in the proximal direction to act on the medicament container (13); a battery (85) configured to power the electrical drive unit (82); a charging port (87) configured to receive a charger (70) having an abutment surface (72) for charging the battery (85) in a charging event; an ejector (50, 150) arranged inside the housing (3) adjacent the charging port (87), the ejector (50, 150) having an ejecting surface (52, 152), wherein the ejector (50, 150) is configured to, during the charging event, be moved into an ejecting state in which the ejecting surface (52, 152) pushes the abutment surface (72) of the charger (70) to thereby eject the charger (70) from the charging port (87).[French]
