The present invention pertains to a method for extrusion coating of a polymeric material, especially a thermoplastic polymeric material, on steel, tin plated steel or zinc coated steel sheets, to steel, tin plated steel or zinc coated steel sheets having a polymeric material coated thereon obtainable in such a method, and to the use of such steel, tin plated steel or zinc coated steel sheets having a polymeric material coated on at least one surface of the sheet to produce of coils or formed parts made from such coils.[French]
