Abstract[English]
A drug delivery assembly comprising a drug-filled cartridge, an actuatable drug-expelling mechanism, a needle hub with a needle protruding from the needle hub, and a shield in which the needle hub is fully or partly arranged, the shield being axially moveable relative to the needle hub between an extended position in which the shield axially covers the needle, and a retracted position in which the needle protrudes from the shield corresponding to a needle free length. The shield is mounted non-rotatable relative to the housing, the needle hub being rotatable relative to the shield and thus to the housing. The needle hub is rotated relative to the shield when the shield is moved from its retracted to its extended position, wherein rotational movement of the needle hub takes place after at least half of the needle free length has been covered by the shield.[French]
La présente invention concerne un ensemble d'administration de médicament qui comprend une cartouche remplie de médicament, un mécanisme actionnable d'expulsion de médicament, une embase d'aiguille avec une aiguille dépassant de l'embase d'aiguille, et un dispositif de sécurité dans lequel l'embase d'aiguille est entièrement ou partiellement agencée, le dispositif de sécurité étant axialement mobile par rapport à l'embase d'aiguille entre une position déployée dans laquelle le dispositif de sécurité recouvre axialement l'aiguille, et une position rétractée dans laquelle l'aiguille dépasse du dispositif de sécurité correspondant à une longueur libre d'aiguille.
