Es wird ein Verfahren zum Bereitstellen eines Ventilsteuerparameters einer einem hydraulischen Zylinder (26) einer, insbesondere mobilen, Arbeitsmaschine zugeordneten Ventileinheit (24), mit folgenden Schritten vorgeschlagen: - Ermitteln eines Sollwerts des Ventilsteuerparameters der Ventileinheit (24) in Abhängigkeit von einem Sollwert eines Bewegungsparameter des hydraulischen Zylinders (26) unter Verwendung einer Zuordnungsvorschrift, welche zumindest zwei als lokale lineare Modelle ausgebildete Submodelle umfasst, um den ermittelten Sollwert des Ventilsteuerparameters zum Betreiben des hydraulischen Zylinders (26) bereitzustellen; - Einlesen von bei dem Betreiben des hydraulischen Zylinders (26) erfassten Ist-Werten des Bewegungsparameters und des Ventilsteuerparameters; - Anpassen zumindest eines der Submodelle in Abhängigkeit der eingelesenen Ist-Werte; und - Ermitteln eines weiteren Sollwerts des Ventilsteuerparameters in Abhängigkeit von einem weiteren Sollwert des Bewegungsparameters des hydraulischen Zylinders (26) unter Verwendung der Zuordnungsvorschrift mit dem oder den angepassten Submodell(en) mittels einer Recheneinheit (10), um den ermittelten weiteren Sollwert des Ventilsteuerparameters zum Betreiben des hydraulischen Zylinders (26) bereitzustellen.[English]
